FOREWORD FROM THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF NPC
It is my pleasure to
welcome you to the Asia Pacific Ecotourism Conference APeco 2002, which
will be held from 3rd to 6th October 2002.
We take great pride to be associated with the Asia Pacific Ecotourism
Conference APeco 2002 as it is one of Malaysia's programmes in
conjunction with the International Year of Ecotourism 2002.
We believe that this conference will open doors for new frontiers in the
field of Ecotourism as well as providing networking opportunities for
delegates from various countries.
The beautiful state of Sabah, which is also known as “The Land Below the
Wind”, with its excellent world class Ecotourism products, is definitely
the appropriate choice of venue for this conference.
To all participants and guests of Malaysia, I wish you a fruitful and
productive session and an enjoyable and memorable stay.
